Two goals from Dean Hegarty in the first half was enough for Quigleys Point Swifts Reserves to clinch the league title on Sunday morning and promotion to the premier division of the reserve league. Mark Wallace then headed wide before Hugo Curran drove straight at Friel from the edge of the area. Rasheney had a good amount of possession but it broke down a lot in the final third. The point broke the deadlock on 32 minutes when Paul Grant fed Dean Hegarty on the right hand edge of the area and he fired a superb shot over Friel.
