Inishowen Ladies Dinner Dance

The Dinner Dance was held in the Malin Hotel in October.  There was a great attendance from the girls to accept their prize as division 1 champions.

Here's hoping the girls are lifting more silverware in 2010.

League Cup 2009

The girls came out fighting this year in their first match of the season against a youthful Carn side.  With faces both old - Clare Diver, Denise Donaghey, Jessica Doyle, Emma Harkin(Captain 2009), Fionnuala Lindsey, Danielle Loughrey,  Michelle Farren, Angela McCallion, Aishling McCallion, Niamh McColgan, Maria McColgan, Anne Marie McIntyre, Clara Moyne, Anne O'Donnell, Kathleen O'Donnell and Caroline Proctor as well as new additions to the team in the form of Debbie Magee and Katie Holly.  However a goal in the first half seen Carn take the lead and despite all efforts from the girls they just couldn't get the equaliser.  The following week saw them face their long term rivals Glengad.  This match was supposed to take place in Muff however due to weather conditions was played in Carn.  There was a strong QPS team however just couldn't do enough to beat the Glengad side.  An early goal from Glengad saw them powering on however QPS responded well with a great equaliser from Denise Donaghey.  Before half time Sarah Faulkner took on the point defense to give Glengad a 2-1 lead.  In the second half the QPS girls were all over Glengad and with the number of attempts from the QPS side belief was that they would equalise if not take the lead.  However this was to no avail and with a second defeat against Glengad it showed QPS the exit from the league cup.
